Customers are seeking new and innovative ways of deploying Next-Generation Networks (NGN) that are based on open, IP-based standards. By tapping into the economies of scale afforded by commercial, off the shelf (COTS) IT technologies, customers are able to dramatically lower their costs while delivering new telecom VoIP integrated services on Class-4 and Class-5 softswitches.
