ORANGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Volt Information Sciences, Inc. (NYSE: VOL - News) today announced the promotion of Tom Daley to President of Volt Workforce Solutions (VWS), the Company’s staffing business unit.

As President, Mr. Daley will be responsible for VWS’s servicing locations throughout North America, Europe and parts of Asia. VWS provides talent acquisition in all skill categories with a strategic focus on contingent/temporary placement, professional search, recruitment process outsourcing, independent contractor management and payroll services.

Mr. Daley’s record of accomplishments with Volt spans nearly three decades. He joined the company in 1980 as an accounting manager in Los Angeles and has served as an executive officer since 2001. Throughout his career, Mr. Daley’s disciplined fiscal approach, organizational efficiency, and his drive to continuously grow the staffing business have led to successive promotions.

Mr. Daley holds a Masters degree in Management with an emphasis in Information Technology. He is a CPA and earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Mr. Daley is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Staffing Association, which he has served since 2002.
