WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: WSFS - News), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced that it has named John A. Molster, Jr., CFP®, ChFC, as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the WSFS Bank Wealth Strategies group.

Mr. Molster comes to WSFS with over 20 years experience in investments, financial planning and insurance. In his new role, Mr. Molster will assume overall responsibility for economic research, investment strategy and portfolio construction for WSFS Wealth Strategies customers.

Most recently, Mr. Molster was a Financial Strategist with SEI Wealth Network where he was responsible for providing investment and planning advice to high net worth clients. In addition, he was President of SEI Insurance Group. Prior to SEI, Mr. Molster was a Financial Advisor providing investment and planning advice at Wachovia Securities.

Mr. Molster graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Salisbury University and a Masters in Finance from Saint Joseph's University Haub School of Business. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Wilmington University. Mr. Molster is a Certified Financial Planner and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant designation from The American College. In addition, he volunteers with the CFP® Board of Standards as a content specialist on the Council on Examinations.
