Wabtec buys cooling system maker Unifin for $93M

Wabtec acquires cooling systems manufacturer Unifin from Koch Chemical for $93 million

WILMERDING, Pa. (AP) -- Railcar systems maker Wabtec Corp. said Friday it has acquired cooling systems manufacturer Unifin International for $93 million.

Unifin, which was owned by Koch Chemical Technology Group LLC, has annual sales of about $45 million, Wabtec said. The company has about 100 employees in one facility in the U.S. and two in Canada.

Shares of Wabtec fell 12 cents to $36.45 in morning trading on Friday, along with the broader market.
