Warnaco Group names new president of Chaps
Warnaco Group hires Michael Prendergast as president of its Chaps division

NEW YORK (AP) -- Apparel maker The Warnaco Group Inc. on Monday said it named Michael Prendergast president of its Chaps division.
Prendergast was previously group president for Rocawear at ROC Apparel LLC. He replaces David Cunningham, who became president of Calvin Klein jeans in August.
He will report to Frank Tworecke, president of Warnaco's sportswear group.
Warnaco Group makes Chaps sportswear and denim, Olga lingerie, Speedo swimwear and Calvin Klein brand underwear.
Shares fell 65 cents to $43.08 in afternoon trading.
