A quick look at Wendy's/Arby's Group Inc. third quarter results:
PROFIT: The company earned $14.7 million, or 3 cents per share, for the three months that ended Sept. 27. That figure included a 3 cents per share charge related to last year's merger when Arby's owner Triarc Cos. Inc. bought Wendy's in an all-stock deal valued at $2.34 billion.
REVENUE: Revenue was $903.2 million. That compares with combined revenue of $935.1 at both Wendy's and Arby's.
PERFORMANCE: Sales in locations open at least a year, an important performance measure, slid 9 percent at Arby's during the period. Wendy's and its cheaper menu fared better than its higher-priced sibling, with flat sales at sites open at least a year.
