Western Forest Products Announces Departure of COO

DUNCAN, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - 06/29/09) - Western Forest Products Inc. (TSX:WEF - News) ("Western") today announced that Duncan Kerr, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, has left the company effective immediately. Stephen Frasher, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "I would like to thank Duncan for his efforts while at Western and wish him every success in the future."

Mr. Kerr joined the company in August 2005 and oversaw the operations of the company.
