Glad to see a company with this kind of media exposure is working toward raising awareness of this issue. I just came back from China and I saw what can happen if these and similar laws are enacted. Scary to think that it could happen here...

If it's the World Wide Web, then why is it only America that is having issues and not the rest of the world? Sounds like the government and big business want to control that as well as everything else. What a load of %$##. I saw Chris Dodd on t.v. lobbying for an Entertainment company. This guy was a Senator and now he is a big business lackey. We have been had.

Fuggin politicians will squeeze the last nickle out of the citizenry in order to benefit the people who bribe them.

That's the bottom line, greed. Monster Cable wants congress to pass this law because people are buying their used products on Craig's List and it is hurting their sales. Too bad. And they will bribe the politicians to go along with them. Pretty soon it will be a crime to sell any used items that you no longer want because it will effect the sales of new items. Big business and corporate greed have already ruined this country! GREED!!!!!!

That's right, it's the World Wide Web and the rest of the world is fine. This is about American greed.

What a joy to have wikipedia off line. I wish the whole internet would shut down for a year or two. What a joyful improvement to life that would be. No internet for one million years. Internet for the past ten years. How have the past ten years been? Not so good. Get it?

Why don't you just throw your computer in the garbage. And while you're at it, sell your car and go buy a horse and wagon.

Says a person who's using the internet to post this. Effin' Luddites. What correlation does he have to back up his assessment?

Want to get attention? Get Google, AT&T and other big players to close for 24 hours. THAT will get attention! I don't mean just black out their pretty little garbage logos that they paid too much for ... I mean CLOSE THE DOORS TOTALLY! No access or anything! Period. No Internet at all! If this is that important, they should do it!

Wikipedia, Google, Facebook, are actually competing with government for control of America. Google and Facebook are really spy networks who are security risks to America. Is Google really worth FIVE Ford motor companies? Only as a spy network. What to do?

Those companies are world wide. Why is America at risk? Where is your proof?

You GO! Wiki! Wake up America! We are no longer a government of By the People, For the People. We have become a government of By Hollywood and Wall Street, FOR Hollywood and Wall Street. If you haven't gotten that yet... then take a look at the majority of the legislation that gets passed in D.C. It's either Wall Street buying another tax/regulation loophole or Hollywood purchasing some more "protection" at the expense of the People. How many million dollar homes do they really need to buy anyways? God Help America! (End of Rant)
