The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has awarded Accenture Federal Services a Blanket Purchase Agreement and four task orders to install an enterprise resource planning system to support the FBI's Human Resources Information System. The BPA was awarded under the General Services Administration IT schedule that provides technology support services to the FBI. The task orders under this award will enable Accenture to oversee selection, installation, testing and support to the agency's HR systems. Accenture also will complete a fit gap analysis to determine possible future costs to replace the FBI's current HRIS systems. The contract, which includes one base year with four option periods, requires Accenture to submit a report with recommendations the FBI can use to determine whether to customize software, reengineer business processes or combine both options to support future needs.
