Shares of the aerospace parts maker jumped 3.4% to a multiyear high on strong Q1 earnings. BE Aerospace (BEAV) said sales rose 13% to $842.2 mil, beating views of $808.3 mil. Earnings climbed 30% to 87 cents per share, beating by 7 cents. The highly rated company, which has an IBD EPS Rating of 82, a Relative Strength Rating of 88 and a Composite Rating of 95 — meaning it's outperformed 95% of all stocks recently on key metrics such as sales and profit growth — said about 61% of Q1 revenue was from products for new airplanes.
