AIG's (AIG) board will meet tomorrow to consider whether to join a $25B shareholder lawsuit against the U.S. government, according to the New York Times, which cited court records. The plaintiffs are claiming that the government's rescue of the insurer took tens of billions of dollars from shareholders and violated the Fifth Amendment which prohibits the government from taking private property without just compensation, the newspaper reported.
