CHICAGO (AP) -- Cold weather has forced the cancellation of about 645 flights at Chicago's major airports.

The city's Department of Aviation says 540 flights have been canceled Tuesday at O'Hare International Airport. The airlines have canceled another 105 flights at Midway International Airport.

O'Hare is reporting delays of up to one hour and there are minor delays at Midway.

Tuesday's cancellations come a day after carriers scrapped about 560 flights on Monday.

The National Weather Service is reporting the air temperature dropped to 11 degrees below zero at O'Hare and Midway on Tuesday morning.
