Akamai trades lower after article notes potential Amazon competition

Shares of Akamai (AKAM) are trading lower after an article on Streamingmedia.com pointed out that Amazon (AMZN) may be a potentially significant competitor to Akamai’s DSA, or Dynamic Site Accelerator, business and drive pricing down in the market. It should be noted, however, that Amazon's new dynamic content delivery service is still in beta testing, according to Streamingmedia.com. Shares of Akamai are down fractionally to $37.30, well off their highs of $37.90 as the Nasdaq is higher by well over 1%.
