Alibaba makes its NYSE debut

It's official; BABA is a thing. Alibaba (BABA) shares priced at $68, the top of its range, Thursday afternoon, making the Chinese Internet company's IPO the biggest in U.S. history. Shares will start trading on the NYSE Friday morning.

Alibaba raised $21.8 billion dollars through the offering, valuing the company at just under $168 billion. That valuation puts Alibaba in between Amazon (AMZN; $150 billion market cap) and Facebook (FB; $200 billion).

Update: Alibaba is open. The official opening price was $92.70 and shares are popping in early trading.
