Black Friday is still weeks away, but Amazon's Black Friday Deals Week, a series of sales leading up to the main event that kicks off Nov. 19, can't come soon enough.
To offset its own anxiety, the online retailer came up with a clever solution: Celebrate deals week and Black Friday a little bit early by launching a Black Friday Deals store on Thursday.
Black Friday Deals is everything we've come to expect from Amazon: A mish-mosh of deeply discounted items, ranging from newish DVDs like "The Bourne Identity" to women's jeggings to watches to Kindles. There's something for everyone, though we're guessing not everyone will want it.
To help shoppers on that front, the site has introduced a well-edited list of this seasons' "new and top-rated" electronics called the "Holiday 2012 Electronics Gift List."
Most everything listed is already on sale, however, the store will roll out Deals of the Day along with "limited time, doorbuster-style lightning deals and other huge savings," its press release said.
You can follow @AmazonDeals on Twitter or check the site's Facebook's page to keep up with all of the markdowns. And if you're not feeling Amazon's prices, just head over to Target, where the bricks-and-mortar monolith will match Amazon or beat them.
