Amazon taking on GrubHub with new local takeout service, TechCrunch says
Amazon.com (AMZN) is launching a food takeout service that is initially going to be part of Amazon Local, and is said to be a "direct competitor" to GrubHub (GRUB) and Seamless, the delivery service that GrubHub previously acquired, according to TechCrunch. Shares of GrubHub are down 4% in afternoon trading following the report.
