American Seed & Oil Company To Hold 'Hemp Farmers Wanted' Event Saturday, November 15, 2014 at VFW in Bennington Vermont

Dallas, TX / ACCESSWIRE / November 12, 2014 / Algae International Group, Inc. (ALGA), through its operating subsidiary American Seed & Oil Company, Inc., announced today an organic hemp farming event to be held this Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the VFW Post 1332 in Bennington, Vermont intended to encourage more hemp farming in 2015 and beyond.

Just this year, American Seed & Oil farmed the largest legal hemp crop planted in the State of Vermont in the last sixty years. The Company started the 'Hemp Farmers Wanted' campaign in August to encourage others to follow suit:

This Saturday the Company brings together Hemp Industry expertise from across Vermont and the United States to inform all interested in learning more about the benefits and opportunities to be had from joining the hemp movement gaining momentum across America.

The event keynote speaker is hemp industry herald, Doug Fine, author of Hemp Bound (www.dougfine.com). Doug will detail the Tri-cropping model he describes in HEMP BOUND: a blueprint for the return of a billion-dollar agricultural economy and a model for energy independence.

Local farmer John Williamson of Stateline Hill Farm (http://www.vsjf.org/case-studies/8/grantee-state-line-biofuels) will be on hand to talk about growing Hemp as a seed stock for Bio Fuel.

Tom Simon and Emily Peyton of Hempfully Green will present on building with Hempcrete (www.hempfullygreen.com).
