American Water Works Company, Inc. (AWK), the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, announced today that it intends to release its 2013 first quarter financial results after the market closes on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.

Jeff Sterba, president and chief executive officer, and Susan N. Story, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will host the first quarter 2013 earnings conference call and audio webcast with investors, analysts and other interested parties on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. There will be a question and answer session as part of the call.

Interested parties may listen over the Internet by logging on to the Investor Relations page of the company’s website at www.amwater.com.

Following the earnings conference call, an audio archive of the call will be available through May 15, 2013, by dialing 303-590-3030 for U.S. and international callers.
