Ametherm Acquires SURGE-GARD(TM) Inrush Current Limiter Products From Measurement Specialties

CARSON CITY, NV--(Marketwired - Oct 8, 2013) - Ametherm today announced that it has acquired the SURGE-GARD™ inrush current limiter product line, formerly manufactured by RTI Electronics, from Measurement Specialties Inc. ( NASDAQ : MEAS ), a global designer and manufacturer of sensors and sensor-based systems. The acquisition will also include certain NTC thermistor products.
