PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - Apr 17, 2013) - Angie Galimanis, vice president at LANE, a national, independent agency specializing in public relations, digital marketing and investor relations, has been named one of the Portland Business Journal's Women of Influence for 2013. The annual awards recognize 25 inspiring women in business who are changing their companies and communities. This year, more than 200 nominations were submitted. Award recipients will be honored at a luncheon at the Hilton Hotel Portland on Thursday, April 18.

Galimanis has managed campaigns and provided strategic public relations counsel for a broad range of consumer and business-to-business clients including ZAGG, Consumer Cellular, The Heathman Hotel Group, Travel Portland, Orchard Supply Hardware, Moonstruck Chocolate Co. and Evergreen Wings & Waves Waterpark.
Galimanis serves as the PR chair for the Hayhurst Kids' triathlon, one of the largest children's triathlons in the U.S., and is an active volunteer for the Oregon Food Bank.
