ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- API Technologies Corp. said Tuesday that it has appointed Phil Rehkemper as chief financial officer of the electronics and microwave systems maker.
Its current chief financial officer, Jack Freeman, is retiring. Freeman has worked as API's chief financial officer since June, when the company acquired Spectrum Control Inc., where he held the same role.
Rehkemper worked most recently at International Rectifier, which makes power management technology for lighting, computers, vehicles and other applications, as vice president of finance.
API, based in Orlando, Fla., makes electronic, microwave and other specialty systems for defense, aerospace and industry.
API shares were trading at $3.31 by midday, down 6 cents.
