Apple (AAPL) is taking its case for a sales ban on Samsung Electronics (SSNLF) mobile devices to a higher court, reports the Wall Street Journal. Apple said it asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to overturn a lower court order denying an injunction against 26 Samsung products that a jury in August found to infringe Apple's patents. A jury awarded Apple over $1B billion in damages.
