DR Horton Inc., up 70 cents to $19.84

The withdrawal of Lawrence Summers from the race for the top job at the Fed sends shares of homebuilders soaring. Summers was expected to rein in some of the measures that have kept interest rates low.

The Boeing Co., up $4.34 to $115.67

Sterne Agee raises its price target on the plane builder's stock, citing healthy forecasts for aircraft deliveries.

Boise Inc., up $2.60 to $12.56

Packaging Corp. of America is spending $1.27 billion to acquire the maker of packaging and paper products.
