Fingerprint-reading software owned by Apple (AAPL), via its acquisition of Authentec, contains serious vulnerabilities that can potentially allow hackers to access Windows (MSFT) account passwords, according to Boy Genius Report. The software comes pre-installed on laptops sold by Dell (DELL), Sony (SNE) and others, the report noted.
