Allstate

Allstate (ALL) was one of the S&P 500's worst performers. The insurance company reported quarterly profit that was well below estimates at $0.63 a share, the Street was expecting $0.97 a share. Allstate said it had more car-related claims and they were more costly and severe. The stock was also downgraded at both Goldman Sachs and RBC Capital.

Apple

Apple (AAPL) shares continued to drop. The stock has struggled and is in correction territory. Apple is below its 200-day moving average. The break in the key support level suggests the tech giant may still have more to fall. But Wall Street is still bullish on Apple. The majority of analysts who cover the stock rate it an "outperform."
