NORWOOD, MA--(Marketwired - Jul 9, 2013) - Applied Plastics Co., Inc. has introduced a line of nichrome resistance wire that is coated with DuPont Teflon® to create a non-stick surface for use in all types of high-temperature sealing equipment.

APC Teflon® Coated Nichrome Wire is suitable for use in a wide range of packaging, sealing, shrink-wrapping, plastic sheet- and Styrofoam cutting, and acrylic bending equipment. Featuring a non-stick surface, it is capable of 500°F continuous operation with 600°F intermittent use.

Supplied on spools from stock, APC Teflon® Coated Nichrome Wire is offered in standard 0.18", 0.020", and 0.036" sizes with other sizes available upon request. This Teflon® coated nichrome wire will last longer than uncoated nichrome resistance wire and prevent plastic buildup, claims the firm.
