Higher Learning Commission implements ARMATURE accreditation software

Today, ARMATURE announced the deployment of the new Pyxis accreditation management system developed for the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The ARMATURE accreditation management solution supports customer relationship management, automated workflow alerts related to accreditation core processes, automated document and letter generation, and customized dashboards for each role.

The Commission’s accreditation program assures the quality of higher education, and their mission has a long-standing commitment to educational access and innovation. HLC was in the process of adopting a new model of accreditation. They needed to develop a secure web-based system for internal process tracking and data collection of institutional information.

HLC is an independent corporation and one of two commission members of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). It is the largest regional institutional accrediting agency of colleges and universities in the U.S. and accredits over 1000 institutions located in 19 states.
