    Aspen Insurance Holdings names John Worth as chief financial officer

    Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. has named John Worth as group chief financial officer of the company beginning Nov. 1.

    Worth, 49, previously served as group financial controller of Barclays PLC. He will be based in London. Worth succeeds Julian Cusack, who was serving as interim group chief financial officer. Cusack will resume his role as chief risk officer of Aspen. Stephen Postlewhite, who was serving as acting group chief risk officer, will resume his previous role as head of risk.

    Aspen, based in Bermuda, provides reinsurance and insurance coverage to clients around the world.

    Shares of the company increased 7 cents to $29.68 in midmorning trading.
