Same story, new week. Rates on new and used car loans were stagnant for a third week, according to Bankrate's latest survey of interest rates.
That means that a 60-month new-car loan remained at 4.22 percent, while the average rate on a 48-month new-car loan stayed at 4.13 percent. The rate for a 36-month new-car loan stayed at 4.03 percent.
Used car loan rates also remained the same, with the average 36-month loan staying at 4.72 percent and the average 48-month loan remaining at 4.73 percent.
