Rates on new and used car loans were unchanged this week, according to Bankrate's latest survey of interest rates.
That means the average rate for a 60-month new car loan remained at 4.24 percent after rising last week. The average rate for a 48-month new car loan stayed at 4.14 percent, while the average 36-month new car loan was also unchanged at 4.03 percent.
The rates for used car loans also were stagnant this week, with the average 48-month used car loan, staying at 4.9 percent and the average 36-month used car loan holding steady for the sixth week at 4.71 percent.
