Avtex, a provider of integrated interaction solutions, announced today that they have hired a Chief Experience Officer to further drive their Customer Experience message. Bob Azman will be leading the Customer Experience Consulting offerings and growth.
Before joining Avtex, Azman was Senior Vice President, Customer Experience at Thomson Reuters where he held a number of leadership assignments including his most recent as an internal consultant to business unit executive leadership teams on developing and implementing strategies to improve the overall customer experience. Prior to this role, he had responsibility for leading the customer experience strategy and operations for the global support organization consisting of Customer Service, Technical Support, Research Attorneys, Education and Development and Software Implementation Services supporting the Legal, Government, Risk and Compliance and Intellectual Property Solutions businesses. He has also held executive roles at Ceridian Corporation, eFunds Corporation and Deluxe Corporation.
Azman earned both his MBA and bachelor’s degrees from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. He has been a guest lecturer in the executive MBA programs at both the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and the University of St. Thomas Opus School of Business. He is a frequent speaker and consultant on the subject of developing effective customer experience and service strategies at industry forums and conferences, most recently giving the keynote address at the Argyle Customer Forum in New York.
