China's top search engine has teamed with Chinese fin'l portal Stockstar.com to launch a mobile Web app that lets users access info on companies traded on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges. Baidu (BIDU) and Stockstar's owner, China Finance Online, said the new app went live earlier this month. It allows smartphones running on Google (GOOG) Android and Apple (AAPL) iOS operating systems to access fin'l info from the 2 exchanges. Baidu shares rose 0.3% to 121.72. Google rose 1.9% to 581.53.
