Banks say growth of clearing houses poses risk, FT reports

The expansion of clearing houses in the U.S. and abroad are posing a growing risk to the stability of the financial system, says some of the world’s top bankers, reports the Financial Times. This comes as clearing houses have leaped to the top of banks’ lists of counter parties, following the shift of over-the-counter trading to centralized clearing houses.
