Barnes & Noble's NOOK subsidiary announces content deals

Barnes & Noble (BKS) subsidiary NOOK Media announced that it had reached content licensing partnerships with NBC Universal and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. Under the deals, content from NBC and 20th Century Fox will be added to the NOOK Video service. NOOK's newly announced content agreements will bring thousands of movies and TV shows for all ages and interests to the NOOK Video catalog, NOOK Media added. NBC is owned by Comcast (CMCSA) and GE (GE), while 20th Century Fox is a subsidiary of News Corp. (NWSA).
