Batali at the Beach: Shutters on the Beach Presents Mario Batali Lunch and Book Signing Event

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Coast Beach Cafe & Bar at the iconic Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica will host celebrated Chef, Author, Restaurateur and Host of ABC's "The Chew," Mario Batali, in the kitchen on Saturday, January 28th to prepare lunch from his new cookbook, Molto Batali.

With two seatings, at both 11:30a and 2:00p, the three-course menu is paired with wines from Batali's La Mozza and also Bastianich Winery, beginning with passed hors d'oeuvres and glasses of Flor Prosecco Rose. The menu includes: Rabe, Potato and Ricotta Ravioli – paired with Bastianich Fruiliano; Braised Chicken with Sweet Onions and Parmigiano, Spaghetti Squash with Soft Herbs and Robiola – paired with La Mozza Perazzi & Bastianich Vespa Bianco; and Orange-Scented Cannoli – paired with Flor Prosecco Rose.
