HOUSTON, May 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass has relocated its Roseville, Calif., office to a larger location to accommodate its growing presence in the Sacramento market.

The bank's office, previously at 8777 Sierra College Blvd., is now located at 1490 Stone Point Dr., Suite 250.

"We've operated in this market for about two years and have grown our local commercial loan portfolio across several industries," said Tom Tuter, BBVA Compass market president for Sacramento and the East Bay Area. "Our local banking team has quickly built a reputation for providing quality financial expertise to our health care, government, agribusiness, real estate and general industries clients."

As a fourth-generation Sacramento native, Tuter is familiar with his community's banking needs. He joined the bank in August 2011 and has nearly two decades of experience in commercial banking.

The Roseville operation is one of several loan production offices BBVA Compass has opened in the last few years to help the bank expand beyond its Sunbelt footprint. BBVA Compass now has approval to open loan production offices across the United States, in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Nashville, Tenn., Columbus, Ohio, and the North Carolina cities of Charlotte and Raleigh.
