BRISBANE, Calif. (AP) -- Women's clothing retailer Bebe Stores Inc. said Monday that its revenue from stores open at least a year and online business combined fell 2.5 percent for its fiscal fourth quarter.

These sales totaled $119.1 million for the three months ended June 30, compared with $122.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2011. However, the company only began including sales from its online store beginning in 2012.

Sales from stores open at least a year is considered a key indicator of financial performance for retailers, because it measures results at ongoing locations, and strips away the impact of recently opened or closed stores.

Bebe's revenue from ongoing stores and its online business increased 5.2 percent for the 2012 fiscal year to $484.2 million.

The company will release total revenue for the fourth quarter, which includes wholesale and other sales, along with its earnings results, on Aug. 23.

Analysts, on average, are expecting the company to post quarterly revenue of $135.1 million, and profit of 3 cents per share.

The company, based in Brisbane, Calif., operates 247 stores in North America and abroad.

Bebe's shares fell 21 cents, or 3.7 percent, to $5.48 in aftermarket trading, after ending the regular Monday session down 3 percent at $5.69.
