Berlusconi's ministers resign from Italy govt - deputy PM

ROME, Sept 28 (Reuters) - All ministers from former primeminister Silvio Berlusconi's centre-right party resigned fromthe coalition government on Saturday, said a spokesman forDeputy Prime Minister Angelino Alfano.

Berlusconi had earlier told ministers from his People ofFreedom (PDL) party to consider stepping down in protest atPrime Minister Enrico Letta's order to freeze all decisionsahead of a confidence vote in parliament.

"The ultimatum sent by the prime minister and his DemocraticParty at their government allies ... seems inadmissable andunacceptable," Berlusconi said in a statement on Saturday.
