Briggs & Stratton Corporation (BGG) is now offering more than 60 backup power solutions for its dealer network. This is an attempt made by the company to meet the growing electrical needs in the light commercial business sector.
The offerings are specifically engineered and manufactured to provide consistent backup power options. Six differing voltage levels, two configuration setups and two controller types together with the 35-kilowatt (kW), 48-kW and 60-kW standby generator units, will supply power required for commercial applications in case of power outage.
The new products, that are equipped with a durable GM Vortec 1800 RPM engine, are designed for longer life as well as more fuel efficient. Briggs & Stratton offers a four-year limited warranty that includes parts and labor for the duration of the warranty. This is notably the most comprehensive warranty in the commercial standby power industry. Galvanneal steel also protects engines from rust and outdoor protection from extreme weather conditions.
Briggs & Stratton’s wireless monitor, which provides easy and trouble free monitoring, is now available with the optional infohub wireless monitor. With this advanced monitoring system, owners can instantly check their generator's system status from anywhere using computer, tablets or smartphones. They will also be informed about maintenance through the Remote System Status Panel.
The generators are also ideal for medium businesses comprising small grocery stores, restaurants and offices, providing essential electrical loads to continue serving customers through a power outage as well as help in reducing revenues.
The product expansion is in sync with Briggs & Stratton’s commitment to offer an authentic solution that helps customers to run their business in the event of a power outage.
