HOUSTON (AP) -- Business software company BMC Software said Monday it entered into a definitive agreement to buy Numara Software, which provides information technology management services.
Financial terms were undisclosed.
BMC, based in Houston, said the acquisition will help grow its information technology management capabilities.

The deal is expected to close in BMC's fiscal fourth quarter, which ends in March.
