Hats for Hope is a charitable organization that supplies wigs and hats to patients who are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or both. Dr. Bradley Kurgis, dermatologist, saw an opportunity to support an organization that is doing a great deal of good.

"We are very proud to support Hats for Hope as they continue to serve a great deal of people in need in our area and beyond," said Bradley Kurgis. "As the name of their organization implies, they are suppliers of hope, and providing hope to those who are in need is a wonderful thing."

The donations that Dr. Kurgis supplied were used as part of a very successful fundraiser for Hats for Hope.

Kurgis displayed his typical humility when discussing his part in the fundraiser, saying, "Anytime we can help a great organization such as this in some small way, we are always happy to do so. These organizations deserve the support of all facets of the community because of the great services they provide. Hats for Hope is certainly deserving of continued support."

Kurgis and his practice are frequently involved as sponsors of community events, and are quick to support many organizations as they work to serve the community. Kurgis Dermatology has recently served as sponsor to the Templeton Concert in the Park, Bowl for Kids' Sake, the Templeton Haunted House and the Angel Tree Project.

"Ultimately, it is part of our duty as a member of this community to offer our support whenever we are able," said Kurgis. "We feel very fortunate that we are able to support a great deal of the wonderful programs that are so often going on in our community. We absolutely view community support and community service as a necessity, and we will continue to do all that we can in the future."
