The frigid winter in the Midwest and Northeast hurt running-shoe sales but helped lift boot sales. Brown Shoe (BWS) same-store sales fell 1.8%. The company sees '14 EPS of $1.45-$1.55, below analyst estimates for $1.61. Shares rose 3.8% to 26.36.
