Built Green Announces the WaterSense New Homes Incentive Program for Green Building Certification
In Partnership With the Cascade Water Alliance, Builders That Achieve This Certification Will Receive a Rebate of $1,000 per Home
BELLEVUE, WA--(Marketwired - January 28, 2015) - Built Green®, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting green building and education programs in the Puget Sound region, today announced a partnership with the Cascade Water Alliance to offer a new incentive for green building certification, the WaterSense New Homes Incentive Program.
WaterSense is a national program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that promotes water efficiency and enhances the market for water-friendly programs, products, and practices. Cascade Water Alliance is a WaterSense partner, offering rebates under the program. Now, Cascade Water Alliance will be offering an incentive for builders who combine Built Green and WaterSense certifications.
Homes in Cascade Water Alliance's territory that achieve both the WaterSense New Homes requirements and a minimum of Built Green 3-Star certification will be eligible to apply for a $1,000 rebate. Built Green will assist with this process.
