Caixa, Santander refinance $175 million loan to OSX -sources


SAO PAULO, Nov 5 (Reuters) - OSX Brasil SA, thestruggling shipbuilder controlled by tycoon Eike Batista, onTuesday obtained refinancing on a 400 million real ($175million) loan about 17 days after it had come due, two sourceswith direct knowledge of the situation said.

State-run Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco Santander BrasilSA, the lender that provided a guarantee to make theloan feasible, agreed to roll over the credit line for anadditional 12 months, said one of the sources, who declined tobe identified in order to comply with banking secrecy rules.
