California School District Awards Gatekeeper $299,334 Contract for Intelligent Wireless System on School Buses

Abbotsford, BC August 21st, 2013 Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (the "Company" or "Gatekeeper") (GSI.V) is pleased to announce it has received a new contract, worth $299,334 USD, from Twin Rivers Unified School District (the "District") in California for its intelligent wireless system bundled with its solid state bus video and GPS technology (the "System") to be installed on 120 school buses.

Gatekeeper's latest intelligent wireless system will assist Twin River Unified School District in providing a safer environment for their children and drivers. In addition to recording high resolution video of incidents inside the school bus, the System allows management to view live video and location of every bus from a central facility. The System also includes built in WIFI and will integrate with the Districts existing wireless infrastructure for downloading incidents using Gatekeeper G4 Incident Management Software.

President and CEO Doug Dyment stated, "Our intelligent wireless system provides customers with the ability to record high resolution video while simultaneously streaming an independent video channel for real time situational analysis inside every bus. The threat of global terrorism and domestic violence is driving the need for immediate eyes on target when a 911 situation arises. Our intelligent wireless system gives management instant access to live video allowing analysis and response depending on the level of threat." Dyment also added, "Twin Rivers is breaking new ground by implementing live streaming capability and we couldn't be more excited to partner with them."

There are approximately 550,000 yellow school buses in North America. New trends are beginning to develop as school districts look to provide safer environments in and around their school buses by recording license plates of stop arm violators, in an effort to deter the estimated 15 million violations, and streaming live video for real time situational analysis.
