Snack maker Mondelez International said Wednesday its third-quarter revenue fell 5 percent, hurt by the stronger dollar, a reduced benefit from price increases and some operational missteps in Brazil and Russia. In a call with investors, CEO Irene Rosenfeld discussed the revenue results.
ROSENFELD: "Our third-quarter top line was disappointing. I want to assure you that the factors that affected us in the quarter are temporary. They're within our control and will largely be resolved by the end of the year. As a result, we fully expect our revenue growth in the fourth quarter to rebound and to set the stage for a strong 2013."
