In this week''s report, the CFB published term sheets for 19 new proposed placements from the mining, oil/gas (termed metals and energy in the report) and technology sectors. Of those, 16 were for mining stocks, one for oil/gas stocks, and two for technology stocks, with the total value of new proposals reaching over $26m. One of these placements were designated a ''flow through'' issuance and there were two new debenture offerings. The largest new public proposal was by Prophecy Coal Corp (PCY.TO), which launched an offering consisting of 60m shares at a price of $0.14 for gross proceeds of $8.4m in a non-brokered placement.

The CFB published term sheets for 40 placements that were closed during the week. Of these, 31 were for mining stocks, four for oil/gas, and five for technology stocks, with the total value of these closings being almost $71m. Three of these placements were designated ''flow through'' issuances and one debenture placement closed. The largest public closing was by Minera IRL Ltd (IRL.TO) which closed an offering consisting of 21.78m shares at a price of $0.45 for gross proceeds of $15.3m in a placement led by RBC Capital Markets.

The CFB also tracked two amendments, four cancellations, and two overallotments to placements published at the end of the weekly report. To date, there have been over 400 weekly reports created by CFB; backdated reports can be obtained by subscribers.
