CapLease, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE: LSE) today announced that it will hold a special meeting of its common stockholders on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., local time, at the offices of Hunton & Williams LLP, located at 200 Park Avenue, 52nd Floor, New York, New York 10166. The purpose of the special meeting will be to consider and vote upon a proposal to approve the merger of the Company with and into a wholly owned subsidiary of American Realty Capital Properties, Inc. and other related proposals. The close of business on July 12, 2013 has been fixed as the record date for determination of the Company’s common stockholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the special meeting of common stockholders.
