PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Pittsburgh's Carnegie Mellon University is raising tuition 4 percent for new students next academic year and three percent for returning students.
The tuition hikes mean incoming students will pay $46,670 annually to attend the school, not counting room and board, which are also rising to nearly $12,000.
Students who entered the school in 2012 will pay $46, 220; those who entered in 2011 will pay $45,780; and those who entered in 2010 will pay $45,300.
