Sofia Vergara celebrated her Emmy nod in Mykonos by posting a swimsuit selfie.

Emmy nominations came out this morning .

While "American Horror Story" is leading the pack with 17 nominations, a few of Netflix's original series nabbed nods in the race along with actress Kerry Washington for her ABC series "Scandal."

Celebs are responding with praise and scrutiny to the nominations, with many taking to Twitter to voice their opinions.

Here's what the nominees and snubbed actors have to say:

The "Modern Family" cast had a lot to say with five of its actors nominated across the board.

Woohoo!! RT @ABC_Publicity: Congrats to @ModernFam, nominated for outstanding comedy! #Emmys #ModernFamily

In a statement, Ty Burrell:

“I am honored and humbly surprised that this good fortune continues. I’ve never had something so wonderful happen 4 years in a row before, other than winning the NY state lottery from 1993 to 97.”

Jimmy Fallon responded to his late night show getting nominated:

We had a great year. Congrats to everyone at Late Night. We work so hard. #Emmy

"House of Cards" actor Kevin Spacey said this was a big victory for Netflix in a statement.

“I’m very happy, first for the series, that we were able break through a lot of great shows. It was our first season, so it’s obvious a big thing for us. It’s also a huge day for Netflix too. Nine nominations! It’s a big win for us, no matter how it goes.”

Though "Homeland" star Morena Baccarin was nominated for her role, she concentrated on congratulating fellow nominees:

You're the sweetest! RT @GeorgeKotsi Huge congrats to my pals @kerrywashington @catdeeley & @missmorenab for their E… http://t.co/vpAJ2d3ok8

— Morena Baccarin (@missmorenab) July 18, 2013

"The Big Bang Theory" star Jim Parsons released the following statement:

“There’s something about having finished season six and being so entrenched in this work now. We’re in such a good spot with it and our audience, things have gone so well. Because of all that an how long we’ve been on, there’s something even more sweet about it; it feels even more of an honor getting to go. Every year that goes by there are more shows to choose from and it seems that our odds would go down exponentially to be included.”

... and co-star Mayim Bialik:

Nominated for an emmy!!!!!!!!!!!

Jimmy Kimmel's statement was humorous.

“It just goes to show you – good things happen to bad people.”

"House of Lies" star Don Cheadle referred to himself as a genius.

"Given all the hilarious film work I've done, from Traffic to Crash to Flight, it's nice to finally be recognized as the comic genius I am. Thank you, Academy members."

— Joshua Malina (@JoshMalina) July 18, 2013

Don't want to come off as one of those bitter actors who bitch about awards, but I do think all the Emmy nominees are terrible.
